Dysport is injected into the muscles that cause these facial wrinkles causing them to freeze in place.
Who Is A Good Candidate? If you have not suffered from any of these conditions you are eligible to receive Dysport injections:
If you plan on having surgery on your face or you have received injections containing botulinum toxin within the past four months you should not try and receive Dysport treatment.
What Is The Treatment Like? Normally during treatment an anesthetic is not needed and many people find the injections to feel almost painless when they are receiving the injections. Dysport only needs to be injected between three to five times in an area to treat the lines. If you are still worried about how it will feel you can ask your doctor to use a numbing cream on the area being treated. Treatment usually only lasts for around 15 minutes and it can take up to several days for the full effect of treatment to be seen.
