Meet Michael Echavez, MD
Dr. Michael Echavez is an experienced facial plastic surgeon offering the latest advances in facial plastic surgery. A Bay Area native, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). Following medical school, Dr. Echavez remained at UCSF to complete his residency training. He subsequently completed a specialized fellowship in facial plastic surgery in Cincinnati, Ohio, through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Echavez is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is on the clinical faculty at UCSF and maintains a private practice in San Francisco and Seattle.
In addition to performing cosmetic surgical procedures of the face and neck, Dr. Echavez also is highly experienced in non-surgical procedures including injectable fillers and Botox. He was one of the first doctors in the United States to begin using Sculptra and has extensive knowledge with this product. Other non-surgical procedures that Dr. Echavez offers would include fat reduction with CoolSculpting and SculpSure, laser treatments and skin tightening with Morpheus8 and FaceTite.
As a trainer for several companies, Dr. Echavez has taught many doctors across the country in the use of injectable fillers and has spoken at numerous scientific meetings and presentations to share his techniques and knowledge of injectable treatments and facial plastic surgery.
