Youthful skin starts within
Sculptra Aesthetic works subtly and gradually over time for a more youthful-looking appearance. Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Sculptra Aesthetic helps stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and increase facial volume that has been lost to aging. Sculptra Aesthetic is intended for use in people with healthy immune systems as a one-time treatment regimen of up to four injection sessions that are scheduled about three weeks apart.
Much More Than a Filler
Sculptra is an injectable facial filler that can be used to improve the appearance of the face. It works best on softening folds, such as the nasolabial folds that run from the sides of the nose to the sides of the mouth, or filling areas of the face that have sunken or flattened over time with age due to fat loss.
Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen — an underlying cause of facial aging — for results that can last more than two years.
How Does Sculptra Work?
Sculptra is used to correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds. Sculptra treatments can make the face fuller, which gives it a more youthful appearance. Sculptra injectable facial filler works as a stimulating agent which causes tissue build up in the areas where it is placed. The results with Sculptra are gradual over time and several treatment sessions are normally needed to get the best result. Once achieved, the final result can last for several years.
Sculptra is a safe and biocompatible material and no skin testing is required prior to having the treatment.
Sculptra Won’t Make You Look Like You Had Work Done
With most Sculptra patients receiving three injections over the course of three to four months, results appear gradually. With this subtle enhancement over time, many of our patients say that their friends and family are unable to pinpoint what’s changed, asking if them if they got a haircut or lost weight.
This natural, more youthful-looking appearance is actually why Alabama has some of the most Sculptra users in the country. In the South, we’re all about that all-natural look, and that’s why we tell patients that Sculptra isn’t going to make you look like you’re in your 20’s. It’s just going to give you a more well-rested, fresh appearance.
Why should you choose Sculptra Aesthetic?
Not all treatments or injectables are created the same. Some target different areas of the face, and, more importantly, produce different effects.
Traditional collagen creams purport to deliver collagen that is absorbed by the skin. However, collagen molecules are too large to penetrate the dermis. So, in actuality, most of these treatments include vitamins and hold moisture, making them suitable moisturizers that can briefly improve skin’s appearance.
Collagen dietary supplements are meant to facilitate the production of collagen within the body. However, collagen is a protein that, when ingested, is broken down by the digestive system. Results for these types of treatments are inconclusive.
Toxins work by temporarily weakening muscles, typically in the forehead, to minimize frown lines. Results appear within a couple days and can last up to a couple months.
Fillers are liquid or gel substances, like hyaluronic acid or bovine or porcine collagen, that diminish lines by pushing up the dermis space beneath wrinkles and creases. Results appear immediately and can last up to several months.
The Sculptra Difference
Sculptra can stimulate collagen growth which helps to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds over time. Results appear gradually over the treatment regime (typically three injections over the course of three to four months) and can last up to two years.
Collagen stimulators are used to diminish facial wrinkles by helping to restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin. Results appear gradually over the treatment regime (typically three injections over the course of three to four months) and can last up to two years.*
As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra Aesthetic is different. It works with your body within the deep dermis, rather than topically, to help revitalize collagen production and help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume.
As the Sculptra Aesthetic PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds.
Slow and steady strength...
Sculptra Aesthetic is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is graduallyand naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist.
The specialist injects treatment within the deep dermis, where strands of collagen support your skin’s structure. Over time, Sculptra Aesthetic helps the body reproduce lostcollagen. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost.
